Our Mission Statement:
To provide a safe, supportive and instructive environment in which community youth can develop their soccer sportsmanship to their fullest potential.
PCYSA typically provides organized soccer to 300-400 local youths each season. We are an all-volunteer not-for-profit organization governed by a board of club officers according to our by-laws.
For tax-deductible purposes, Putnam County Youth Soccer Association, Incorporated operates as a 501(c)3 approved non-profit organization under the IRS Group Ruling for Indiana Soccer. Our Federal EIN is: 46-0893070, under Group Exemption Number 5283 for the Indiana Youth Soccer Association (whose own EIN is: 35-1845779).
We welcome your contributions to our projects as a volunteer, a coach, a referee, or a board member. If you are interested, please contact us.
Fees for the recreational league are $60 ($70 for late registration) per season for the recreational league; $90 for Rec+; and $120 (U10) or $140 (U12/14/16/18) per season for the competitive leagues. Here is where your registration fee goes:
PCYSA was founded in 1986 and early matches were played in a meadow southwest of town on the road to Limedale, but moved east to Big Walnut Sports Park after that land was gifted to local youth leagues for field development in 1988. As a result of hard work and dedication by many volunteers, Putnam County Youth Soccer teams enjoyed success in tournaments and as individuals going off to strong college programs. Currently we tend to serve over 300 youth in our recreational league, and over 70 in our competitive (travel/rec+) leagues in the Fall, and over 320 rec players and 100 competitive players in the spring.
