We are currently seeking volunteers for the following positions:
- Rec. League Head Coach
- Rec. League Assistant Coach
- Age Group Coordinators – serve as field marshals on game weekends and as point of contact for coaches and parents in their age group.
All volunteer members must participate in all background screening processes that are required by Indiana Soccer. Candidates must be residents of Putnam or surrounding counties and “members in good standing” (that is, paid in full with no disciplinary restrictions) with PCYSA.
All members are volunteers and are not compensated. Coaches must obtain their US Soccer grass roots certification, take the concussion awareness course and pass a background check. We ask that our volunteers be aware of how they represent themselves, their team, and Putnam County Youth Soccer. It is imperative that our coaches are respectful to all around them including parents, opposing teams, and referees. We expect our coaches to exhibit professional behavior at all times while on the fields. Disciplinary action will be taken against any member of the coaching staff whose actions bring the Club into disrepute.
